Horses

We have a variety of horses and breeding here at Wilga Park. As the focus is now toward dressage, the breeding of most of our horses reflect this. We like to purchase young stock and then let them grow up in natural surrounds before their work commences around 4 years of age.

We also have a schoolmaster that is patiently teaching Steev the art of riding!

Donnerkeil (Logan)

Born 2004, by Don Shufro out of a Kassiber mare.
Chestnut, 16.3 hh, gelding, currently training PSG and ridden by John.
Logan placed in the top 10 of 5 year olds at DWTS 2010.

Dablino II (Klaus)

Born 2007, by De Niro out of a Rangveiw Landstrom mare.
Chestnut, 16.2 hh, gelding, currently training elementary.

Dunkel Ritter (DK)

Born 2008, by De Niro out of a Lacryma Christi (IRE) xx mare.
Black, 16 hh, gelding, currently training novice/elementary with John.
DK placed 6th across Australia in the 2009 ACE Tour

Born 1997 by Kiltoghert Casey (ISP) out of an Ela Mana Mou (IRE) xx mare.
Dark Brown, 17 hh, gelding, currently able to train medium…just waiting for Steev to get there! Ridden by Steev

Max

Born 2000 by Spanish Attraction (USA) xx.
Grey, 16.2hh, gelding. Max is retired now and is affectionately known as Uncle Max.

Tulara Amplify (Arthur)

Arthur. Born 2010, by Ampere out of a Florestan mare.
Dark Brown, 16.3 hh, gelding. Arthur is now under saddle and working nicely with John.

Casper. Born 2010, by Cassini II out of a Carbine Mare.
Grey, 17.1hh, gelding.Casper is now under saddle and working well with John . Casper’s half-brother won Champion of Champion Showjumper with the Stars 2011
